The Move

Well, we have made the journey from Virginia to Florida and are in the process of getting settled in our new house!  It has been an experience and we are still weeding through all the boxes of things we have collected over the years.  Nicholas started at his new school and it has been a learning curve for him with all new friends, new environment and everything is just a bit different.  He is working on learning the ropes and will get into the swing of things hopefully soon.  Sterling has started full time at a nice babysitter.  She has just the boys and only recently took on another child, so that means more one-on-one for Sterling (along with her daughter, Delilah).  Nicholas rides the bus now.  He gets picked up at the end of our street and has a very long bus ride to get to school.  He then rides the bus out to the sitter's house with the sitter's son until I pick them up at the end of the day.  We are trying to figure out our routine and hopefully soon it will be like clockwork!

The house is coming along nicely.  I painted only one room at this point - Sterling's.  It was painted in Florida 'Gators colors and a bit busy, so I repainted it marigold and will be putting animal silhouettes all around.  Nicholas' room is quasi decorated in Star Wars - he seems to like that.  The rest of the house is a bit of a fright right now, but hopefully it will all come together.
